12 hours!

My stuff is waiting in Chelsea's apartment, ready to be snatched away at 4:30am tomorrow.
I have less than 12 hours to go before this insane trip begins. All I have left to do is to watch Ironman, have a party (at which I won't be drinking), and go to sleep for a few hours (if I can). Then it's off to the airport and onward!
My next post will be from some internet cafe in south america, and I look forward to taking an obscene amount of pictures!

So I haven't been online really at all lately because I moved out of my apartment last friday. Since then I've slept in 3 different houses (none of which were my own), painted a house for paint training, and had my parents come to visit.

Technically I haven't left yet, but i've been living out of my backpack since yesterday, so it's almost like a pregame warm up.

I only have a few things left to do. I need to return my cable box to comcast and close out my account, and I'm currently printing out all the info for my flights, trips, etc.

My goal is to take at least 500 pictures for this trip, which comes out to about 25/day. I won't have solid access to the internet all the time, so I'll post them when I can. As far as keeping this blog, I will write it when I can. Otherwise, I'll be handwriting a journal so that I can post it at a later point (or make a book out of it, who knows?).

It is Cinco de Mayo, so I will be sure to celebrate seeing that I can't drink tomorrow night because I'm leaving for the airport at 4:30am.

I'm not excited yet, but I will be when I'm on the plane from Miami to Quito, then I won't be able to sit still!

I'll have a final post tomorrow and then I'll be off on my whirlwind adventure through South America!
